Updates & Tips for Pharmaseekers Customers

Do you currently have any locum cover requirements? We’re able to look at covering anything from standalone dates or weeks of cover, depending on your needs. You can email us your vacancies if you like? We can then add your vacancies to the system on your behalf. Or if you prefer you can log onto your dashboard and add your vacancies.

Just a friendly reminder that we have locums available for the following roles:

  1. Pharmacists

  2. Dispensers

  3. Technicians

  4. ACTs

Some upcoming peak periods for cover demand you may want to book off:

  1. February 2023 half term (approx. Friday 10th February 2023 – Monday 27th February 2023)

  2. Easter 2023 (approx. Friday 31st March 2023 – Monday 17th April 2023)

  3. Easter Bank Holidays 2023 (Friday 7th April 2023 & Monday 10th April 2023)

  4. Ramadan 2023 (approx. Wednesday 22nd March 2023 – Friday 21st April 2023)

  5. Eid al-Fitr 2023 (approx. Thursday 20th April 2023 or Friday 21st April 2023)

  6. May Bank Holidays (Monday 1st May 2023, Monday 8th May 2023, Monday 29th May 2023)

We know securing locums has become increasingly difficult over the last 24 months. In response to that we’ve made changes to our system to make it easier for locums to access your vacancies and express their interest in them. This means your vacancies are now much more visible to locums. We’ll be in touch immediately with any offers. Due to the current market demand for locums, offers we put forward for your consideration might not coincide with the rate you have advertised. However we think it’s important that we keep you aware of all cover options and as always, whether to book or not is completely at your discretion.

PQS 2022/2023: Our system is now live with the PQS updates for this year. Please look out for the PQS symbol on our booking offers. Green means a locum has completed the necessary learning required of customer facing staff on a PQS declaration day.

If you have any queries or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
