We at Pharmaseekers have seen an increase in demand from our customers asking for locums who have valid Declarations of Competence (DOC’s) to provide services for them and we have already been in touch with locums in some areas to let them know what’s required.
Declarations of Competence are the way for Pharmacists to demonstrate capability to deliver services.
We would really encourage all locum pharmacists to get competent for as many Locally Commissioned Services as you can because it will mean that you will be more eligible for a wider range of vacancies from companies looking to ensure services are being delivered in their branches. It will also count towards your CPD.
If you are already accredited for some services but haven’t given us a copy of your Declaration of Competence, please upload this into your on-line diary.
